Modern Slavery Act Statement
Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It constitutes Allison Baby UK Limited’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
Organisation’s structure
Allison Baby UK Limited is a subsidiary of Joie International Co. Limited and part of the Joie International Group. The organisation is a Baby and Nursery Products Manufacturer which manufactures a range of baby strollers, car seats, at home products and travel beds globally. Joie International Co. Limited’s head office is in Hong Kong and suppliers are based in China. Allison Baby UK Limited is based in Staffordshire and has over 50 employees. The Group operates/distributes in over 25 countries.
Our business
Our UK Office launched in 2011, promoting and selling the brand Joie. The Joie brand is one of the world’s fastest growing baby brands, dedicated to designing products that make life with small children more fun and less work. The UK brand portfolio has continued to grow and now includes the NUNA, Graco, and Tavo brands. Our global business objective is that families worldwide benefit from our good quality, versatile, stylish and innovative products.

Allison Baby UK Limited is committed to continuously improving its practices to identify and eliminate any potential modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains, and to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business relationships. We have a global network of suppliers from whom we source and distribute our products.
Our commitment against modern slavery and human trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We strive to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and take reasonable and practical steps to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains. We respect and obey the laws, rules and regulations that apply to our businesses around the world and expect our suppliers to do the same. Our core values reflect our commitment to competing ethically and respecting fair employment practices. We take great care to uphold each employee’s human rights and promise a safe working environment where employees are treated with dignity and respect.
Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking
As a business we recognise the responsibility that we must work with all parties in our business and supply chain to ensure that those within are treated humanely and with respect. Our commitment is to guarantee that all our workers are neither exploited nor subject to unsafe or inhuman working conditions. As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we take great care to identify, assess and mitigate potential risks relating to modern slavery and human trafficking that may occur in our supply chains.
Supplier adherence to our values
We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. As part of our wider commitment to trade ethically, we take steps to ensure that our suppliers are not engaging such conduct. In this regard, our factory has regularly passed annual SMETA (the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) audits for compliance with labour, health and safety, and business ethics standards.
Current position
We are not aware of, nor do we have information to suggest that any incidents of modern slavery or human trafficking have taken place within our business or supply chains during this financial year.
